A new Crimson Desert mod called World Builder gives players an in-game way to browse and place more than 48,000 prefabs, from walls and ruins to furniture, props, gimmicks and natural objects.
The Nexus Mods page lists Daebak as its creator and says the mod was uploaded September 19, then updated September 20. Rather than presenting itself as an official game tool, World Builder is a community mod intended to let players arrange the assets already shipped with the game.
Live placement, then saved projects
According to the mod's description, players open the editor with a hotkey, preview prefabs and spawn them near their character. The objects can be placed on the ground, then moved, turned, tilted and scaled with keyboard controls or a Blender-style mouse gizmo.
The useful part is persistence. The author says a completed arrangement can be saved as a project and loaded again the next time the game starts. That makes the release more than a quick screenshot tool: it is designed to support repeatable custom scenes and builds inside the game world.
The author also says World Builder does not modify game files. It includes a small C API so other mods can spawn and move objects, and its credits point to modding-community research and several third-party libraries. The listing does not promise official support, compatibility with every other mod or any particular performance result, so those questions remain for players to check before installing it.
