Andrei “arT” Piovezan will miss ESL Pro League Season 24 after contracting meningitis, according to HLTV's report on a statement from Legacy. The Brazilian Counter-Strike 2 team's in-game leader is receiving medical care and is expected to remain sidelined for “at least 10 days.”
Legacy said it is following medical guidance to protect his well-being and asked supporters to leave messages for him. The organization also promised further progress updates, while disclosing no additional details about the condition.
Legacy will travel to the tournament in Katowice with Pedro “bobz” Rocha as its stand-in. HLTV lists the event lineup as Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer, Bruno “latto” Rebelatto, Vinicius “n1ssim” Pereira, Santino “try” Rigal and bobz, with Alan “adrrr” Riveros coaching.
A substitute from inside Legacy
The emergency change brings an analyst back onto the server. HLTV reports that bobz last appeared for a team in 2024 with MIBR Academy. He later worked as an assistant coach for Fluxo and Yawara before joining Legacy as an analyst.
That makes the substitution more than a routine roster swap. Bobz knows the organization, but the report does not describe recent match practice at the level Legacy will face in Katowice.
