The official Witcher account posted a supercut of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past gameplay. The footage shows Geralt fighting with a new chain weapon in the Letten region and includes Dandelion. It demonstrates ray tracing, improved lighting, and more complex NPC routines. Associate game director Paweł Sasko shared the video, and Geoff Keighley posted the same twelve-minute Gamescom demo. The account later noted fan turnout at the booth during the event.
