Bungie Explores Subleasing Bellevue Headquarters

GamesRadar+ reported that Bungie is exploring options to sublease its Bellevue headquarters. Kotaku noted the studio announced a major HQ expansion there in 2021 that included new capture facilities and other amenities to support multiple teams. Five years later most of those projects have not come to fruition, and the studio has laid off more than 600 people in three years. Kotaku added that some observers view the earlier expansion as a sign of mismanagement. The reports frame the sublease move as a response to those cutbacks.
