@GiveMeBanHammerSeeing the situation with Ironmouse and Fortnite, I have opinions. Here is what I will never get...why do some people really go out of their way to SABOTAGE THEMSELVES? You virtue signal with such vigour, talking about how you "never want to play a game with Ai in it" and that "its a matter of principle" and "its kind of like your thing". Then you go around and accept sponsorship collab from a company that unrepentantly and blatantly use gen Ai - a company that its own CEO demands that Steam remove the "contains generative ai" classification because "ai is the future of game development. For what? Because the company gives you the big money and your own ingame character? How about you just not say anything to begin with? People can and WILL hold you by your principles that you supposedly claim to have. Sure it gets you some quick clout...but you are obligated by the principles you declare so loudly. When you break it, it just makes you look bad. Sure some don't care that you present yourself as a hypocrite, but enough will. If you can't even hold on to something as simples as "if it has gen ai I want nothing to do with it", how will people trust you with anything you say moving forward? I have zero ill will for Ironmouse and I have defended her over various silly dramas, but really just...WHY put yourself into this position?
