miHoYo’s free-to-play cosmic life sim Petit Planet is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027, the game’s official account announced. The account says the team is working on the Switch 2 version and will share gameplay footage and more details later. It gave no specific release date beyond 2027.

The official pre-registration page schedules the game’s launch for Dec. 4, 2026, in UTC+8. Gematsu reports that the game will launch first on PC through the Epic Games Store or a client download, on iOS through the App Store and on Android through Google Play.

In developer details published by Gematsu, players take the role of Planet Tenders and plant a Luca Seed that grows into a Luca Arbor, shaping their planet’s landscape, seasons and ecosystem over time. miHoYo also describes meeting Neighbors, exploring Islets and visiting the Galactic Bazaar for games, auctions and shared creations.
