IGN reports that a possible story ending wouldn’t mean Capcom plans to stop making Resident Evil games.
GameSpot says Resident Evil executive producer Jun Takeuchi told Yahoo Japan that the series’ conclusion would come in another decade. IGN describes the mainline story’s ending as a possibility, not a plan to stop making Resident Evil games.
