Subnautica 2's next major update will add a region billed as one of its scariest

Rock Paper Shotgun reports that Subnautica 2 creative director Anthony Gallegos calls the next patch the game's most substantial since release. He describes the new region as "one of our scariest regions we've ever done." The update is also set to add a Frog chassis for the Tadpole submersible, new biomods and the ability to dash while wearing fins instead of equipping a dash biomod. Unknown Worlds hasn't shared a date.
