Slime Rancher 2 is coming to Switch 2 in January 2027

Nintendo announced that Monomi Park’s Slime Rancher 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in January 2027. Its Oct. 28 post carried the #IndieWorld tag, and Nintendúo reported that the release window was confirmed during that day’s Indie World presentation. Nintendo’s post did not give a specific release day.

Gematsu reports that the Switch 2 version will include an exclusive in-game toy called the Glo Glo Squiggle. In Monomi Park’s game overview published by Gematsu, players explore Rainbow Island as Beatrix LeBeau, discover slimes and gather resources to upgrade their gear and build out a conservatory.
