HEROIC have advanced to the Stake Pulse Beat II grand final, where they will face 100 Thieves. HLTV announced the pairing on September 26, and its live event page listed the best-of-three final for 19:10 local time in Stockholm.
The matchup closes a six-day Counter-Strike 2 LAN that began with 16 teams and a $60,000 prize pool. HLTV’s event overview lists $20,000 for the winner and $8,000 for the runner-up. The competition used GSL best-of-three groups before moving to a single-elimination best-of-three playoff bracket.
Two unbeaten group winners meet again at the end
HEROIC and 100 Thieves both entered the playoffs without a group-stage loss. HLTV’s playoff report described HEROIC as moving comfortably through Group B, where the team beat Johnny Speeds and BBL. 100 Thieves topped Group C after victories over EAC and Phantom.
The path tightened in the knockout round. HEROIC had to come from behind to beat fnatic in the quarterfinals, while 100 Thieves eliminated BBL with consecutive 13-9 map wins. The semifinal bracket then put HEROIC against Sangal and 100 Thieves against Astralis. Sangal had reached that stage by sweeping JiJieHao, with Bartosz “bnox” Niebisz posting a 1.47 series rating, according to HLTV’s final-day preview.
The other semifinal carried its own history. HLTV noted that 100 Thieves player Nicolai “device” Reedtz was facing Astralis for the first time since leaving the Danish organization at the start of the year. That result sent 100 Thieves into the title match from the opposite side of the bracket.
HLTV’s later post confirmed that HEROIC and 100 Thieves survived those semifinals, but the inspected report did not include HEROIC’s map scores or a detailed player breakdown. The result still sets up a final between two teams that led their groups and arrived through opposite halves of the bracket, with the winner taking the largest share of the event’s prize pool.
