Ninjas in Pyjamas finished Stake Pulse Beat III without losing a series, then closed the tournament by beating MIBR 2-1 in the grand final. HLTV reports that NIP dominated Mirage 13-2, dropped Cache 17-19 in double overtime and recovered from a 2-7 deficit on Ancient to win the decider 13-9.
The title was NIP’s third in as many weeks with Karim “Krimbo” Moussa, following victories at ROG JOURNEY Autumn and 1win Private Club Season 1. Their undefeated run also included group-stage wins over Betclic and Inner Circle, followed by three-map victories against Liquid and HEROIC in the playoffs.
MIBR nearly forced a different ending after Carlos “venomzera” Eduardo and Felipe “insani” Yuji helped erase a 7-12 deficit on Cache. On Ancient, however, NIP allowed only two rounds in the second half to complete its own comeback. HLTV’s post-event invite simulation put NIP’s chance of reaching the PGL Major Singapore at 98%.
