Guardians of the Galaxy Game Called Best Superhero Story in Years

Gene Park posted that he bought Guardians of the Galaxy on PC for $9. He called the story very well written and praised the fun team-based mechanics in the single-player game. Replies agreed it ranks among the best written superhero stories in games this decade, with solid gameplay similar to light FF7R or Kingdom Hearts and a strong voice performance. One user noted they received it free on Epic earlier and enjoyed it. Another mentioned the battle system where players control only Star-Lord and issue orders. Several users expressed disappointment that no sequel followed because the Avengers game underperformed.
