Fortnite is coming to Linux as Epic rebuilds Easy Anti-Cheat

Rock Paper Shotgun reports Epic plans to test its rebuilt Easy Anti-Cheat in Fortnite on Linux before offering it to other multiplayer games. Epic says the new version will use Linux security features to improve protection, and some distributions may need configuration changes. Steam Deck doesn't meet its requirements, but Epic says it hopes to add support in the future.
