Konami said in the official Silent Hill: Townfall patch 1.3.1 notes that it released the update Sept. 30 for the Steam and Epic Games Store versions of the game.

According to those patch notes, the update addresses a performance-related issue by reducing gameplay stuttering caused by shader precompilation issues.
