Steam Generates $15 Billion in Gross Revenue This Year

Rhys Elliott, head of market analysis at alineaanalytics, posted that Steam generated $15 billion in gross revenue in the first eight months of the year according to the firm's estimates. The post states this total arrived in record time and stands 15 percent above the same period last year, already surpassing all of 2023. Elliott described Valve's position in the PC market as a functional monopoly and a behemoth on the basis of these figures.
