The Switch is a month away from becoming Nintendo’s bestselling console

Currently, the list of bestselling game consoles is as follows:

1. Sony PlayStation 2 (~160 million units)

2. Nintendo DS (154.02 million units)

3. Nintendo Switch (154.01 million units)

The switch is just 10,000 units off the DS, Nintendo’s current bestselling console. And that’s as of September 30, 2025. A new sales update should come from Nintendo in February.

But can it best the PS2 and take the ultimate crown? Time will tell… but I sure hope so!
