Bernie Ecclestone: F1 is in danger of losing its fans
New regulations aren't going to be the reason F1 loses fans. F1 and the teams will make sure competitive racing is at the forefront.
And I could care less what Bernie thinks. He was someone who refused to have F1 on social media because he "didn't believe in it". Nevermind all of his personal scandals.
The bigger danger for the sport is if F1 gets priced out for casual fans wanting to attend races and becomes less accessible.
Bernie Ecclestone, former F1 boss, criticizes the new regulations, stating they risk turning F1 into an 'engineers’ world championship' and potentially losing fans. Max Verstappen, a four-time world champion, also expressed dissatisfaction with the new cars, describing them as 'Formula E on steroids'. F1 chief executive Stefano Domenicali urges fans to give the new regulations time to prove themselves.
