A decade on from Brexit, has the trump administration reminded the UK and EU of the need for each other more than the economic damage ever could?
I speak of course in a way that includes the unity the EU has show over the situation in Ukraine as well, but given that during the Conservative government in the UK were particularly keen to make the relationship between the EU and UK acrimonious at best - has the sentiment to wards Trump along with a more EU minded labour government eased tensions enough to the point where, should our European family see more stability in the UK (and I say this as the whole situation with Mandelson has erupted which has resulted in a call for the sacking of yet another prime minister) they would welcome and even anticipate the UK once again taking a place within EU governance?
How do you imagine that would look?
Apologies for posing a question instead of an article, but I am curious to see how people outside of my German family feel about the UK/EU in the current day. Please remember to keep it civil while explaining what you perceive to be the hurdles that would need to be overcome in future years to see a united European continent.
