Is Epstein alive ?

I saw a short where someone showed a file that was supposedly shared by the US government in the Epstein case. It was an email? of a prison security guard? where she explained that she thinks Epstein might have been replaced by another person, that then hanged themselves in Epsteins cell. Do you know if this file is legit or did I stumble upon fake news ? If this is part of the files how is this information not shared all over the place ??
