Clintons agree to testify in House Epstein investigation ahead of contempt of Congress vote : NPR

Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have agreed to testify in a House investigation into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, but the Republican leading the probe has not yet finalized the agreement. The House Oversight Committee chair, Rep. James Comer, continues to press for criminal contempt of Congress charges against the Clintons for defying a congressional subpoena. The Clintons' attorneys have requested that Comer agree not to move forward with the contempt proceedings, but Comer has not immediately dropped the charges. The House Rules Committee postponed advancing the contempt of Congress resolutions as negotiations continue.
