Anthony Ippolito filmed his own Stallone audition before being asked

TheWrap reports that Anthony Ippolito filmed an audition to play Stallone before the filmmakers requested one—and ultimately won the role in Peter Farrelly’s “I Play Rocky.” The actor described his homemade setup: “I hung a heavy bag in my grandma’s basement. I didn’t have a script, so I was just working with my imagination.” The film is about the making of “Rocky,” according to TheWrap.
