GTA 6’s launch outlook and a possible multiplayer debut in 2027

IGN reports that Twitch boss Dan Clancy thinks other game companies are right to avoid competing with GTA 6 for attention. He expects an enormous launch in November 2026, followed by a multiplayer release in 2027 that he predicts will keep drawing the internet’s attention. IGN refers to that mode as “GTA Online 2,” while noting it could be called something else.
