Variety reports that “Mad Men” creator Matthew Weiner is no longer involved in “The Chairman,” a Peacock drama in development with Eddie Murphy attached to star. Sources told Variety that creative differences led Weiner and the producers to part ways. A new showrunning team is said to be in place, and the writers’ room has been placed on a two-week hiatus.
