‘Heat 2’ filming expected to start in January 2027 after delays

Collider reports that filming for Michael Mann’s ‘Heat 2’ was originally scheduled for August, then pushed to November. Star Stephen Graham says production is now expected to start in January 2027. Collider says the film, based on Mann and Meg Gardiner’s novel, will be both a prequel and sequel to 1995’s ‘Heat,’ with Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale among its cast.
