Carlos and Alexa PenaVega say 'Dancing With the Stars' competition strained their marriage

Entertainment Weekly reports that Carlos and Alexa PenaVega said competing against each other on the show's 2015 season brought jealousy and “a lot of baggage” to their marriage. TV Insider says they revisited the experience on their LexLos podcast, where Alexa described Carlos as competitive and jealous. Carlos said he would have struggled to watch her dance with someone else if he had not been competing too.
