‘余命一年、男をかう’ gets a trailer and November 5, 2026 Netflix release date

Netflix Japan announced that ‘余命一年、男をかう’ will begin streaming on November 5, 2026. Its synopsis follows a frugal single woman, played by Kou Shibasaki, who is told after a cancer screening that she has one year to live. When a pink-haired host played by Eiji Akaso asks her for a loan, she decides to “buy” him for ¥720,000. Netflix describes a relationship that begins with money and gradually eases both characters’ loneliness. The newly released key art shows them gazing at each other in a red bathtub.
