‘Big Little Lies’ season 3 films for one day to keep its California tax credit

Variety reports that the one-day shoot took place at Warner Bros. Studios Burbank. Insiders told the outlet it was intended to preserve the show's approved California tax credit. Deadline confirmed that Merrin Dungey filmed scenes and reports that main stars including Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon did not take part. No date has been set for full production.
