Former Eminem employee pleads guilty to copyright infringement involving unreleased music

Variety reports that Joseph Strange, a former sound engineer for Eminem, pleaded guilty to criminal copyright infringement after selling unreleased music. Buyers put more than 25 songs online in January 2025. Strange faces a maximum of five years in prison and is scheduled to be sentenced on January 27, 2027.
