Melanie Lynskey to star in Paramount+ limited series ‘Mushroom Murders’

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Lynskey will lead and executive produce the six-episode series. It follows the 97 days between a 2023 lunch in Australia and Erin Patterson’s arrest. The show’s description says Patterson allegedly prepared food with toxic death cap mushrooms, resulting in three deaths. Daina Reid will direct all six episodes.
