New whistleblowing portal opens for U.K. entertainment workers

Variety reports that the Creative Industries Independent Standards Authority (CIISA) has launched a portal for U.K. film, TV, music and theater workers to report concerns related to its standards that may affect others. CIISA says reports are made in confidence and it will take careful steps to protect identities. It had received around 30 reports as of October 1, following a June soft launch. Initially, the service aims to identify wider patterns rather than act on individual cases.
