Tom Pelphrey wins 2026 supporting actor Emmy for ‘Task’

Tom Pelphrey won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for ‘Task’ at the 2026 Emmys, Screen Rant reports. EW says Kaley Cuoco cried as her fiancé won his first Primetime Emmy and later rushed in to hug him at the end of an interview. Variety quotes Pelphrey crediting “deep, deep dives on YouTube” for helping him nail his character’s “very tricky dialect.” He said a man speaking on a local news station helped him “unlock the missing piece.”
