Greta Gerwig's *Narnia: The Magician's Nephew* Trailer Features 'Stairway to Heaven'
DiscussingFilm says Gerwig convinced Led Zeppelin to allow the song's use; she called it a song about a spiritual journey.
TLDR
DiscussingFilm says Greta Gerwig convinced Led Zeppelin to let the production use “Stairway to Heaven” in the Narnia trailer. Gerwig said the song felt appropriate because it explores a spiritual journey, false idols and wrong paths. Separately, one viewer praised the trailer for The Magician's Nephew, saying it seemed more faithful than some films in the previous Narnia trilogy.
