‘Coyote vs. Acme’ reportedly submitted for Best Animated Feature Oscar consideration

ToonHive and GeekVibesNation, both citing NextBestPicture, say ‘Coyote vs. Acme’ has been submitted for Best Animated Feature consideration at the 99th Academy Awards. Gold Derby reports the Academy ruled the film eligible after questions about whether it met a requirement that 75% of its runtime include animation of its primary subjects. If nominated, Gold Derby says, it would be the category’s second live-action/animated hybrid nominee.
