Jailer 2 promotional campaign intensifies ahead of Oct. 15 release
Promos, singles, and posters continue for the Tamil action sequel (director Nelson Dilipkumar; cast includes Rajinikanth, Vidya Balan, SJ Suryah, with cameos from Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar; music by Anirudh). Trailer slated around Oct. 5.
TLDR
Rajinikanth's massive global fanbase ('Thalaivar'/Superstar) drives hype for the Dussehra-timed sequel to the 2023 hit. Visual promos and music snippets go viral within Tamil and Indian cinema circles. The campaign reflects anticipation for box-office dominance and demonstrates how regional cinema leverages social media across fan networks.
