In a Violent Nature: Part 2 will open in theaters Feb. 12, 2027, with the date announced at Shudder’s New York Comic Con panel. Gizmodo adds that the film premiered at the recent Fantastic Fest.
A press release from IFC Films and Shudder says Johnny’s latest rampage takes him to a summer camp, where a young, outcast camper must spend the night with his counselor sister and her friends during an end-of-season party. The companies describe the sequel as picking up immediately after the first film, expanding Johnny’s lore and pushing its extreme-kill approach further.
Nate Wilson and Chris Nash co-direct the sequel. Nash, who wrote and directed the first film, also wrote Part 2, while Ry Barrett returns as Johnny.
