'Diana Unheard' features never-before-heard audio of Princess Diana
Deadline says the documentary's producers aim to show Diana's agency rather than portray her as sad and manipulated.
TLDR
Deadline reports that the three-part documentary draws on about five hours of 1991 recordings of Diana speaking with her friend James Colthurst for Andrew Morton's book. Some excerpts have aired before, but the producers say access to the full set brought previously unheard audio to the series. The tapes cover Diana's sons, the line of succession and her relationship with Camilla.
