Andrew Garfield recalls admiring Sam Altman before playing him in 'Artificial'

At the New York Film Festival premiere of “Artificial,” Garfield recalled finding Sam Altman honest, transparent and charismatic when he first saw him testify before Congress. “And then you learn more about a person,” he added. Variety reports Garfield spent two to three months studying Altman to portray him in the film, which dramatizes his firing and rehiring at OpenAI.
