3388 Films picks up ‘Sister Sister 3’ for the Americas, Europe, Australia, Taiwan and Japan

Variety reports that 3388 Films acquired the Vietnamese franchise sequel at the Asian Contents & Film Market in Busan. Directed by Nguyen Huu Hoang, the period film reimagines Thị Mầu, a character from traditional Vietnamese Chèo theater. It was slated to open in Vietnamese cinemas in late October 2026, with 3388 Films’ theatrical rollout in its acquired territories planned for later that year.
