Lee Child says he vetoed a third Tom Cruise ‘Jack Reacher’ movie

Deadline, citing Collider, reports that Lee Child said he exercised a contractual veto after two Tom Cruise-led ‘Jack Reacher’ movies. Child said a streaming series offers more time to tell the stories and more freedom in casting. Prime Video’s ‘Reacher,’ starring Alan Ritchson, has been renewed for fifth and sixth seasons, Deadline reports.
