Hollywood studios reportedly ban employees from betting on movie news in prediction markets

The reported bans cover prediction-market bets on castings, release dates and studio earnings. Employees are also barred from passing information to friends or family so they can bet. At least one studio has reportedly set up an anonymous hotline for reports of suspected employee betting.
