Teyonah Parris reportedly set to star opposite Denzel Washington in Christopher McQuarrie thriller

Parris is reportedly set to star opposite Washington in an untitled Amazon MGM Studios and United Artists thriller that McQuarrie is on board to direct. Written by Scott Barkan and Gregg Zehentner, the film is slated for an Oct. 1, 2027, theatrical release. Its reported plot follows a former detective granted compassionate release after a terminal brain cancer diagnosis, but does not specify either star’s role.
