‘The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping’ tickets go on sale amid presale optimism

PopBase said tickets went on sale October 28, ahead of the film’s November 20 theatrical release. EmpireCityBO called presales “fantastic” over their first 12 hours and later said a $100 million opening weekend looked like a “virtual lock.” Variety reports that first reactions compared the prequel to “Rogue One” and praised Joseph Zada as Haymitch.
