Disney names former Netflix executive Emily Feingold communications EVP

Disney has named Emily Feingold executive vice president of communications, with a start date of Nov. 9, 2026, Alex Weprin reported in The Hollywood Reporter.

She succeeds David Jefferson, who accepted Disney’s voluntary early retirement offer after 15 years at the company, Anthony D’Alessandro reported in Deadline. Jefferson will remain through the end of November to support the transition, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

Feingold will report to Paul Roeder, Disney’s senior executive vice president and chief communications officer. Her responsibilities will include corporate media relations, enterprise editorial, and executive, brand, financial and technology communications, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

Feingold was most recently Netflix’s vice president and head of communications for the U.S. and Canada. She left the streaming company in June 2026 after about nine years, Deadline reported.

Before Netflix, she held senior communications roles at Andell Inc. and Ralph Lauren. She also worked in the White House during the Clinton administration, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
