Zach Cregger’s ‘Resident Evil’ reportedly headed for digital purchase and premium rental Nov. 3

Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil is expected to become available for digital purchase and premium rental Nov. 3, 2026, Dread Central reports, citing When to Stream. Sony has not confirmed the date, and Dread Central notes that it could change.

The reported Nov. 3 date is for purchase and premium rental, not a subscription-streaming premiere. Dread Central expects Netflix to be the film’s first U.S. subscription-streaming home, but says no date has been announced for that separate release.
