Charli xcx reportedly has a cameo in Martin Scorsese’s ‘What Happens at Night’

Charli xcx reportedly has a cameo in Martin Scorsese’s upcoming “What Happens at Night,” alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence. Elsa Keslassy and Ellise Shafer reported in Variety on Oct. 22 that sources told the outlet about her appearance. Variety said her part was being kept under wraps and listed Mads Mikkelsen, Patricia Clarkson and Jared Harris among the film’s other cast members.

Variety describes the Apple and StudioCanal production as a Gothic psychological horror film. Its story follows an American married couple who travel to a small European town to adopt a baby. As they struggle to claim the child, they seem to know less about themselves.

In its Oct. 22 report, Variety said representatives for Charli, Apple and StudioCanal did not immediately respond to its request for comment. The outlet also reported that a release date had not yet been set.
