Sally Field wins 2026 Emmy for ‘Remarkably Bright Creatures’ at 79

Sally Field won the 2026 lead actress Emmy for a limited or anthology series or movie for ‘Remarkably Bright Creatures,’ Screen Rant reports. Gold Derby says the 79-year-old set the category’s age record for women.

Film Updates quoted Field’s acceptance speech: “We’re the arts. We matter. Our voices matter, our diversity, our unique storytelling matters. We can’t let those voices be silenced or compromised or merged.”
