TLDR
The Los Angeles Times reports Paramount Pictures has taken over the Bay Theater lease at Palisades Village, previously held by Netflix. The cinema has been closed since the January 2025 Palisades fire. In October 2026, Rick Caruso said he expected it to reopen later that year, with upgraded projection and in-seat food and drink service. The Lot is slated to operate the theater and show first-run films from all studios.
