Imax reports $175 million in third-quarter revenue as 'The Odyssey' drives record quarterly global Imax box office

Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' accounted for $550 million of Imax's record $712 million quarterly global box office. Those figures are ticket grosses, not Imax revenue. The company reported $175 million in third-quarter 2026 revenue, above a $154 million Wall Street projection, and $117 million in net income. Demand for the film in Imax 70mm extended more than two months into its run at 41 locations.
