Christy Carlson Romano says she was paid half what Shia LaBeouf made on ‘Even Stevens’

Variety reports Romano revealed the alleged pay gap while promoting her memoir, saying she and LaBeouf were co-leads with the same screen time. She shared a letter her mother wrote to her agent in 2000 that listed his pay at $12,000 per episode and hers at $6,000. Romano said LaBeouf “earned every dollar” and that her book is not about him.
