Zach Cregger’s ‘Resident Evil’ reportedly crosses $250M worldwide
A separate post says Cregger pitched Constantin Film a story designed to feel like playing the games before writing the screenplay.
TLDR
One post says Zach Cregger’s ‘Resident Evil’ has crossed $250 million worldwide and projects a finish above $400 million, with releases in China and Japan still to come. Another says Cregger pitched Constantin Film his story before writing the screenplay with Shay Hatten, aiming to capture the games’ scarce ammunition and escalating horror rather than adapt an existing storyline.
